Naked Solar is looking to expand its team, as VAT reductions, Supertax reductions for businesses and rising electricity bills lead to “a significant Solar Boom”.
The Cornwall based solar installer is looking for experienced solar installers in Newquay and Exeter, as well as electricians and solar consultants in Newquay.
“Naked Solar has a great company ethos,” said Jake, who started as a solar consultant at Naked Solar in 2021, and is now sales manager.
“It is staffed with good people who care about the environment and are incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and friendly environment. It’s comforting to know that the work we do helps support many people to reduce their energy bills and live a more sustainable life. Planet maintenance says it all.”
The solar sector is expected to grow substantially over the next decade and beyond, creating thousands of jobs. According to the Climate Change Committee, solar could deliver 13,000 jobs, create £17 billion in additional economic activity and include a CAGR of 11% by 2030, if the 40GW target set out by industry was met.
Beyond the Southwest, Naked Solar is looking to expand its offering internationally, announcing a Series B funding round with a target of £10 million-plus to support a major US and further global expansion in July.
